What's up! I'm David Weibell, and I'm so glad you're here.
I wish that we could meet face-to-face, but until we do, this will just have to suffice.
I was raised in the great state of Utah surrounded by beautiful mountains, which I unfortunately took for granted until I lived in the Dakotas for about a year and a half. I can see why flat-earthers might think the way they do if they came from the midwest.
Aside from my life's geography, I have a deep passion for creating beautiful images. In high school, I fell in love with the process of making videos after being encouraged by my radio teacher. That nudge has shaped my perspective and driven me to make creativity a huge part of my life.
One of the things I never expected when I started this creative journey is how my view of the world would change. As a cinematographer, I find myself trying to find the most visually appealing angle and lighting in any situation. I've trained myself to seek out beauty in the world around me no matter where I am.
To me, that's an amazing ability to have.
It's always hard to write an about me page without sounding bland or trying to be over the top. The truth is that it's impossible to really know someone based off of a few paragraphs on a website. The only way to truly know someone is to spend time with them, talk with them, and work with them.
